• Prior to joining our firm, Mr. SHIM had 16-year work experience in Korean government. He used to serve in the Korean Intellectual Property Office for 7 years, then successively assumed the office of Intellectual Property Administrator in the Executive Office of the President, Intellectual Property Consul in the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, and Judge of The Korean Intellectual Property Trial and Appeal Board. He also visited BSKB, a well-known American law firm, to carry out exchanges and study for 7 months. Due to 4-year experience as an IP consultant in China mainland, he has a profound understanding of intellectual property protection and is able to assess the IP protection and patentability from the perspective of Chinese practice.
