  Eui-Jin SHIN

• Mr. Eui-jin Shin joined Wooin Patent & Law Firm as one of our patent attorneys in early 2014.

  Prior to joining Wooin, Mr. Shin was a trademark and design examiner at the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) from 2003-2014 where he examined the trademark and design application in various fields. During his tenure of office, he received his Korean patent attorney’s certificate in 2009 as well as a Technology transfer Agent certificate in 2011. He also worked for many years at the Korean Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs.

  His practice encompasses all aspects of trademark and design protection and enforcement as well as related Korean litigation. With his extensive knowledge of the examination of designs and trademarks, he provides consulting services in the field of design. He has spoken at numerous seminars discussing trademark and design law for colleagues, companies and academic institutions and is highly regarded in the Korean patent and design community.

  Mr. Shin received his bachelors from the Korea National Open University in 1987. He graduated with a master’s degree from Yonsei University in 1998.
